How hard is it to create an e-Learning course with InformaOne?

InformaOne is similar to PowerPoint and the skill level required to create a PowerPoint presentation, is similar to skill level required to create an InformaOne course. If you are comfortable creating presentations in PowerPoint, you will have no problem with InformaOne.

Can I use templates to create great looking courses?

The InformaOne authoring program is packed with templates that can be used to create professional training. When you open InformaOne you are given a choice of either a template-driven project or a standard project. When you make the project template-driven, it will automatically ask you to choose a template as you add pages. The templates also automatically add the objects such as titles, text, pictures, videos or questions.

Can I include video from the stacks of video tapes on my shelf?

InformaOne makes it very easy to add video from existing video tapes. You simply need to connect the video output from the VCR to the input of the video recorder and use the same commands as you use for recording live video.

Can I record a voiceover to make the training much more interesting?

With InformaOne it is a snap to add a voiceover to your training presentation. The best part of using sound is that it plays well at all bandwidths and can turn a boring presentation into something much more interesting and dynamic.

How can I distribute the courses to the Students/Employees?

The easiest way to send your training course to the Learning Center is with the Distribution Wizard. The best part of using this wizard is that it guides you through sending up your course. It asks you about Firewalls and also about the bandwidth of your users and selects the appropriate choices based on your responses. When the course arrives at your Learning Center, it automatically updates the databases and adds this course in the list of available training courses - it's that easy!

Can I use my existing PowerPoint training?

InformaOne has an option that allows you to import your existing PowerPoint training using a flash file, or by using the import menu in InformaOne. However for online learning you normally will need to add more content to your PowerPoint. This can be done with a voiceover or by using the built in characters in InformaOne.
