investigative topics, and includes a comprehensive assessment.
Family Violence
The course consists of six modules. The first module covers the statistics and myths associated with domestic violence.
Other modules cover family violence, protective orders and assistance. Throughout the courses there are
a number of assessment modules.
Miranda Rights
These courses focus on undertanding Miranda Rights,
and includes actual case studies. Assessments are also built into the courses.
Social Networking in Police Work
Learn how to create a social network profile and
gain a basic introduction to social networking websites.
Legal and Liability Issues in Schools
Understand the basic definitions of legal and liability issues in schools, such as search and seizure.
Racial Profiling
This course covers Supreme Court decisions and other court decisions involving appropriate
actions in traffic stops and the logical and social arguments against racial profiling.
Inappropriate and appropriate traffic stops are also covered and what would constitute reasonable
suspicion of drug courier activity and criminal activity.
